Job Description :
Our client requires an experienced Welfare Rights & Assessment Advisor (visiting officer) to join their Family services team.
Pay Rate: £10.32 per hour
Duties: Provide a comprehensive welfare benefits advice service & assist with applications for benefits Provide specialist advice on the financial assessment process Provide a consultancy telephone advice service Prepare and provide financial assessment
Requirements: A full understanding of Local Authority, NHS and DWP benefits and entitlements Computer literate (Access & Excel) Ability to carry out complex financial calculations A minimum of 2 years experience of working in the financial assessment/welfare rights field Hold a full driving licence and have use of a vehicle 5 GCSEs including English & Maths or equivalent + substantial experience within a similar role
