Our client is a market leader in the production of “snack food” and is currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join the team at their prestigious Head Office in Nottingham. Reporting to the Site Financial Controller the successful candidate will: •Prepare, develop and analyse management accounting information. •Provide high quality support service to line managers in the organisation •Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports to senior management •Analysis of variances and exploring potential problems with line managers •Making appropriate recommendations and driving corrective action. •Improving the systems surrounding all aspects of the companies budgets, forecasts and business planning •Establishing and maintaining costing models for the company
Ideal person specification
•A recognised professional accounting qualification, or qualified by experience with a thorough practical understanding of management accounting principals and techniques. •The ability to manage and motivate a team •High degree of communication skills (Both Verbal and Written) •First hand experience of MRP systems and variance analysis. •Used to working in fast moving environments providing accurate and timely information to a high standard •Advanced IT skills including Microsoft and Ideally SAP
